Dr. David Harvitz, DPT, TPIc is the owner and founder of ReNew, your concierge physical therapy service in the Florida Panhandle. He received a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science in 2007, and then a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2010, both from the University of Pittsburgh, the #1 ranked school in the country for physical therapy. Since then, Dr. Harvitz has taken his orthopedic and manual therapy continuing education seriously, progressing through the Manual Therapy Certification track through the University of St. Augustine. He specializes in treating the issues other healthcare practitioners struggle to identify and treat properly. Dr. Harvitz utilizes a unique treatment approach that relies less on traditional tests and measures and more on your response to specific manual techniques including dry needling. This approach tends to be much more specific in identifying your actual dysfunction or pain syndrome, allowing for a shorter duration of treatment and fuller healing.

ReNew: Concierge Physical Therapy is something that was born out of Dr. Harvitz’s love for his patients and frustration with the constraints of the current medical system. For 10 years he worked for either big companies or corporations that mainly care about the bottom line. They also refuse to operate outside the box and they continue to bow to the whims of insurance companies and government over-regulation. He refuses to do that. No more cut corners or compromising the quality of care just because insurance companies demand it. ReNew is completely self-pay and no insurance is accepted. This means freedom. Freedom to heal, freedom to perform, freedom to be pain-free. Your doctor will personally come to your home, evaluate and diagnosis your specific pain syndrome or movement dysfunction, and set up a one on one treatment plan for you. There’s no need to start with a referral from a physician.
